
Cabbage and Tomatoes
1 onion chopped fine
5 garlic cloves minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 head of Napa cabbage shredded
2 tablespoon water
8 ounces of cherry tomatoes cut in half
1 tablespoon white miso paste
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
a few drops of chili oil
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon corn starch mixed with water to make a slurry
Sauté onions till translucent. Add garlic and sauté for one more minute. Add cabbage and water and cook covered till cabbage is soft. Next uncover and add tomatoes and remaining ingredients except corn starch slurry. Add slurry at the end to thicken up the dish. Serve with rice or GF noodles. Quick and easy to make and good for you too.
