Here's another bell, this one is textured and glazed pale green. Every one of these has a different sound. I find that if the bead hits the lowest part of the bottom edge it makes the nicest sound. Notice how the bead is hanging below the edge, when the bead swings it just hits the edge. If it was higher it would hit inside due to the circumference of the outer edge of the bell. It takes some doing to get the knots in just the right place on the cord.
I forgot to put a hole in several of the wind sails I hope I can drill them with a diamond bit. I'm up before the crack of dawn to wait in line and hopefully get a spot at the farmer's market this morning. Wish me luck. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
