Much of my time with clay is taken up with research and development, R&D. In fact many of my shelves are filled with pots which fit in that category. One of these days I'll sort through them and decide if I'm going to make more or not. Or I'll decide if I need to do more research. I finally figured an easier way to attach these driftwood handles. I'm using a curved upholstery needle to wind the linen thread through the holes.
I picked up a diamond drill bit for my dremmel tool. Gary helped me drill out the two holes in this tall driftwood handled basket yesterday. The diamond bit cut through the glaze without a hitch. Then I was able to attach the handle.
