Red Rooster Bank

Unloaded the kiln yesterday and I got a mixed bag for various reasons. This red rooster bank turned out just fine though. He measures 11 1/2 tall by 11 wide by 4 inches wide the body tapers to less wide at the top. I finally unpacked my photo cube but my graduated backdrop was so brittle it cracked so I couldn't use the cube because I didn't even have any poster paper I could use as a substitute. It isn't easy taking photos of shiny pottery. I used red iron oxide on his feet but now I wish I'd used glaze. I need to measure the hole for the stopper and get the correct size. More of the mixed bag coming up as soon as I take the photos.

When I remember I plan to add my name to my pottery photos since I've noticed several instances where I am unable to locate the artist of a particular work. For example on Pinterest some photos when clicked on it says media cache. Another example is etsy and when you click on a photo you are directed to the etsy site for other similar items. 'If the artists name is on the actual photograph then there won't be any question. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
