Ribbon Wall Tile

Here's a first attempt at a ribbon wall tile utilizing my signature ribbon construction. Thankfully it made it through both firings. Wish I'd made the stylized flowers with a deeper more contrasting color. The piece is thicker and heavier than I'd like it to be. The piece is about 8 x 9 inches and has a one inch frame work behind it with holes to string wire to hang it on the wall.

With these explorations my work continues to grow and evolve. I document them here for my pottery journal. I'm working behind the scenes, striving to create what is in my mind's eye. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
