I really need to decide on another camera, Gary's camera just isn't doing it for me.
I should have taken these photos outside, next time. I know where my photo cube light tent is but it will have to wait a few weeks to be unpacked.

It got up to 63 yesterday and was so nice and sunny.
I had picked up a few plants at the nursery last week like this coral bark maple and saucer magnolia.
I even found a couple of variegated yucca, can't wait for all these plants to grow into their new homes.
We also tried planting a few junipers, dogwoods, redbud, and holly and found out our back yard is almost all rock combined with dense Georgia red clay. The planting plan was thrown out and we had to improvise. Gary dug all the holes and I put in the plants. At least we know our home is built on a solid base and isn't likely to slide down the hill.
We now have our mantle installed; it's a bit light in color but will mellow with age. Up next some plans for my new studio and a refinishing project, so stay tuned. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
