These are the last of the previous kiln load with some overlapping glazes. This pieces is about 4 x 5 x 3 inches.
Here's the inside. I didn't like this one that much but Gary said someone will like it. Often my least favorite is the one that sells first.
My business card holders sell well.
These next two I made too small to hold a business card.
I'll have to measure next time. Ha. But they were good for testing overlapping glazes. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
I need to make some card holders. I always just throw mine in a bowl.
ReplyDeleteHi Dennis, thanks, I place several around my booth and folks buy them and then I make more. I've sold them in the gallery too. I put the gallery business cards them and they sell, not for much but every little bit helps.
DeleteGood looking business card holders, and they show your style well.
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara, thanks, they are great sellers too, you'd be surprised. Also I was thinking i could give them to businesses as a marketing tool, and hopefully folks will ask them "where did you get that business card holder and they can look on the bottom and see my name. Ha.
DeleteNice looking glaze combos! It's so irritating when you make something and shrinks too much for it's intended use. I have done that a few times!
ReplyDeleteHi Michele, thanks, I knew I should have measured but was too lazy to walk upstairs and get an actual business card, now i have some in the studio. Ha.
ReplyDeleteThe overlapping glazes are quite pretty. Interesting to look at.
ReplyDeleteHi Gigi, thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it interesting, and useful the way that people's tastes differ...
ReplyDeleteHi Elephant's Child, thanks, very useful indeed.
DeleteThe overlapping glazes are lovely. Actually, I like the inside . . . it doesn't compete with what's put in it.
ReplyDeleteHi Kittie, thanks, good point.
