Here are the snow photos I promised to show you.
the crab apple is highlighted in the middle background
sadly the snow was gone in a couple of days.
we enjoyed the white carpet while it lasted
snow clinging to the coral bark maple branches
semi bonsai pine branches weighed down
dark spot up in the tree is a squirrel nest
photo was taken through the screen, rather eerie
we gave Bonkers a bowl full of snow to enjoy.
Pretty pictures to share. Love them all.
ReplyDeleteHi Gigi, thanks, everything is so different when it snows and it is so quiet.
DeleteOh how pretty...we had much less, and it only was here a few hours (as my blog today captured just a bit.) I like your pics.
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara, thanks, strange we got more snow than you, must have gone north.
DeleteA winter wonderland.
ReplyDeleteHow did Bonkers like his snow?
Hi Sue, thanks, he liked it a bit but not as much as I would have thought.
ReplyDeleteSnowing there...raining here. We've been receiving some wonderful, welcome rain.
ReplyDeleteI just heard on the news that areas in New South Wales where bushfires are still burning will have all those bushfires doused by the end of this week...such great news for those in the bushfire-affected ares.
Bonkers is loving that snow. His own personal snow cone! :)
Hi Lee, thanks, we are now getting a lot of rain too, so glad the rains are finally dousing the fires in Australia.
ReplyDeleteYour photos look so pretty Linda. We were just saying out loud yesterday that we might not have any more snow this year. The little we had disappeared quickly.
ReplyDeleteHi Denise, thanks, it does look lovely when everything is covered with a white blanket and the snow insulates the plants from the cold. We rarely get snow here but when we do we love it.
ReplyDeleteLove seeing Bonkers with the snow.
ReplyDeleteAloysius used to love to play in it.
Hi Suzi, thanks, aw, Bonkers wasn't that enamored with it but he did take a few licks, was surprised at how little water came from such a large amount of snow
