Pink Dogwood

My pink dogwood is blooming nicely this year.
The flowers open this darker pink then fade to light pink.
This is the most amount of flowers it has ever gotten
since I planted it six years ago.
The tree has grown over a foot since last year.
Must be the compost I gave it last year.
Happy Easter
Hope you are all doing well.

  2. Happy Easter. Our little dogwood outside my house is much older, but also had those vivid red blooms that have now faded to pink. So glad you have one with lots of promise.

  3. Happy Easter Linda,
What a delight that dogwood is. I didn't realise they could have such a lovely dark pink colour, the ones I have seen before have been mostly white. What a joy to have that in the garden!

    1. Hi Peter, thanks, we have native ones that are white, someone probably hybridized the pink ones.

  4. I do like dogwood trees. We don't have any ourselves, but we gave our neighbor one for their backyard years ago.
