Gone in a Day, More on the Way

calm, peaceful, and quiet in the snow
since we no longer have an outside cat
we have two squirrel proof seed feeders
and even put up a suet feeder
we may get a few other types of feeders
we've seen more species of birds in all seasons,
 cardinals, pine warbler, Northern mockingbird,
Carolina wrens, Carolina chickadee, tufted titmouse,
Eastern phoebe, Eastern towhee, goldfinch, blue jays,
 downy woodpecker, red bellied woodpecker,
pileated woodpecker, mourning dove, even a ruffed grouse.
I've yet to see an indigo bunting, but I have hope,
We're happy to ease their time during cold weather.
the snow was gone in a day, but more is on the way.

  2. A very pretty snow scene Linda. I also have my feeders out and we see cardinals, Carolina wrens, black-capped chickadees, the tufted titmouse, goldfinch, downy woodpecker, red bellied woodpecker, mourning dove and the blue jay, but that one not so much these days. Also crows and squirrels. It is fun to watch them all and see how they interact. Always entertaining.
