Reliably, this pink peony blooms this time of year.
It was planted by a previous owner of our home.
The first three years it didn't bloom but finally it did.
Fertilizer, compost, regular water helped it thrive.
It puts on seed pods, have you tried one from seed?

I wish our peonies bloomed reliably. They have good soil and plenty of fertiliser and compost so I don't know the answer.
