I just harvested another batch of fresh basil from my garden.
I'll be making pesto. I'm stripping the leaves now.

I am fairly certain I'll have enough to freeze some.
Some quality olive oil, fresh garlic, basil and dash of lemon.
Whirl it up in the blender and you are ready to use it.

I adore fresh basil. We struggle to grow it here - not enough water and our summers are too hot for it.
