Changing America's Eating Habits

Changing America's Easting Habits

Organic grass fed beef and asparagus from Aldi.
Yes the burger patties look mysteriously shaped in squares.
I took one pound of the beef and cut it into four squares,
I salted and peppers them liberally.
If you want some heat sprinkle on some pepper flakes.
I cooked them in a bit of olive oil on top of the stove.
At the end I melted a bit of queso cheese on top I had on hand.
Meanwhile I had steamed the asparagus.
This is a quick, easy, and an inexpensive meal.
Want some taters in there, bake some, no problem.

The beef was 3.99 a pound; I don't recall how much the asparagus was.
Each patty is 1/4 pound of beef, so that's half a pound for two patties.
That is more beef and much less cost than a fast food meal.
Plus much better quality and nutrition.
We don't have to go out to fast food chain restaurants
to eat well and inexpensively.
We're not supporting rich corporate CEOs of chain restaurants.
We're changing America's eating habits one step at a time.

    1. I can just imagine, this post came about because I mentioned tipping was archaic in restaurants, as the patron is paying part of the server's salary, do they tip in Australia ?
