- 1 tablespoon oil
1 inch ginger knob fresh , peeled and grated. - 3 cloves garlic peeled and minced
- 2 hearts of romaine lettuce, washed, dried and cut into about 2 inch segments.
- salt and white pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon rice wine (shao xing) or cooking sherry
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- ½ teaspoon dried chili flakes, to taste - optional
1 tablespoon soy and white miso - optional
Stir fry lettuce in oil. When wilted add remaining ingredients and stir fry till ingredients are melded. I never thought to stir fry romaine, but it was quite tasty and easy to make. Serve immediately.
