Basically I laid out a sheet of lox, spread cream cheese over the lox, and then added some of my pickled red onions I made the other day. The pickled red onions changed into a condiment so delicious. They definitely turned a nice shade of pinkish red. Make your pickled red onions about 2-3 weeks ahead of time so they have time to take on the pickling flavorr. This gourmet snack hit the spot.
